"Im 16 years old and an upcoming Herpatologist and Photographer. I stay in Kimberley in the Northern Cape where I come across many reptiles. Ever since I can remember I've been involved with snakes, as my dad also grew up catching snakes. We travel throughout Southern Africa looking for snakes to photograph, and it is always exciting finding a species ive never seen before! Although we don't have the best camera around, I always make a point of taking the best pictures possible and I'm slowly building up a collection of South African snake pictures."

"Thanks David! The Xenocalamus bicolour is quite rare and we sincerely appreciate your contribution!" Johan Marais

Johan requires more snake pictures - see main gallery for info!
